New Tesla Model 3 Teardown Videos

Tesla’s Model 3 is still a year away from appearing on Australian roads, but state-side, people are already tearing apart their fancy new cars so the rest of the world can see what a Tesla is made of.

YouTuber Ingineerix has posted two videos exploring what’s under the Model 3’s “frunk” cover and underbody cover. This exposes all the bits and pieces that make the car move.

Ingineerix has also conducted a detailed Q&A on Reddit’s Tesla community, where the conversation reveals more interesting facts (like the 12V battery in the Model 3 lasting much longer than the Model S and the Model 3’s incredibly low need for maintenance) and the discovery of a secret “factory mode”.
