Slow to move, Ford plans to release a single EV by 2020

General Motors has its wonderful little Bolt EV, but arch rival Ford seems to be totally missing in action when it comes to electric cars. Today Ford has announced how they plan to catch up. Their first non-compliance EV will be an “electric performance SUV” (just like everyone else it seems) and will show up in 2020, with five more planned between 2020 and 2022. And that’s it from the blue oval – a single electric car, by 2020. Who wants to bet that it won’t even arrive in Australia until 2022?
